What is YOURLS?
YOURLS is a set of PHP script that will allow you to run your own URL shortener, a la TinyURL/bit.ly
You can make it private or public, and a WordPress plugin makes integration with your WordPress blog (and Twitter) a snap. It provides wicked stats and analytics. There's an API. You can add plugins. It's free.

...except UI
Feature-rich and stable, lots of plugins for any case or need. Easy to install - 2 minutes and ready.
BUT: terrible UI and UX. And it's really hard to change it without hacking the core. I spent few hours changing it via CSS and internal hooks. Because you can't supply to your customer solution looks like this by default. Hopefully in v2 there will be themes support, but before - just survive... I give 3 stars only because of this.
