One of the simplest most lightweight note taking app. Love it. If you want your notes to sync, look elsewhere.
If you have xubuntu 20.04 the 1.8 version shipped with xfce goodies is NOT compatible with xfce 1.14 or 1.16. The 1.7 version with xubuntu 18.04 or 16.04 was great (however now about 10 years out of date) and just worked, included coloring backgrounds etc. Also the upcoming updated version 1.9 will remove support for GTX2 and also removes coloring backgrounds. It's a huge step backward.
