What is X-IP?
Dynamic DNS is a service that allows you to access a remote machine through a domain name instead of knowing it's IP address. There are many companies providing this service (No-IP, DynDNS, etc...) Running this application on your phone makes it take advantage of these services and assign a fixed domain name at your phone.
This version comes bundled with an integrated FTP server, so you can access all the files in your SD card from anywhere using a FTP client like FileZilla (open-source).
