What is Wren:IDM?

A complete platform for building Identity Management (IDM) and Identity Governance (IG) solutions using the concepts of roles, mappings, synchronizations, workflows, policies, etc.. Facilitates automation of lifecycle management and provides workflows with an approval process, auditing, and user self-service.

It provides provides:

  • Administration GUI – an interface that provides comprehensive management of data models and configuration, as well as the managed data. It offers a comprehensive understanding of the system's state and behavior.
  • Self-service GUI – an interface for end-users to update their profile information, passwords, and preferences.
  • ICF Connector Servers – Services that enable connectors to operate outside of the IDM itself, while still maintaining top-tier security. Useful when a connector needs a specific client environment to talk to the integrated system.

Wren:IDM is one of the projects maintained by Wren Security, a community initiative that adopted open-source projects initially developed by ForgeRock.
