What is WindowFX?
WindowFX is a software tool that enhances the look of windows and menus with animations and effects. It allows over 30 animated effects to be applied to windows during actions like opening, closing, minimizing, and restoring. It also offers 20+ start menu animations for additional customization.
The software includes a "Corner hotspots" feature, which lets users control the mouse cursor's display. Users can adjust color, opacity, size, and shadows, including dynamic shadows for light sourcing onto cursors. It also provides advanced right-click options for managing window effects, transparency, and resizing.
WindowFX helps reduce desktop clutter. A double-click on the desktop hides icons, and text labels for desktop icons can be hidden. It also allows the removal of the arrow overlay on desktop icons. Furthermore, it introduces a "window flick" option, which adds movements, window fading, and speed enhancements for quick window navigation.
