Looks like an abandoned project. Or, atleast, so old that it's likely to have issues with the latest versions of Ubuntu, WinE or the Windows you'd want it to emulate.

The Git repo shows last commits circa 2016, around the time this entry was added to AlternativeTo.net's database.

Unless you're feeling brave, or fancy yourself something of a Linux geek, this is likely not going to help you play the Windows games (or run the Windows software) that you want to, instead of spending hours getting it to just work.

YMMV, E&OE yada yada.

What is Vineyard?

Vineyard is a collection of tools and libraries designed to make managing Windows programs on Linux easier. More specifically, it aims to improve the integration of Wine and the Free Desktop and to make it easier to create programs and tools that integrate with Wine.

Or as OMG! Ubuntu! describes it: “Vineyard gives users an impressively easy way to configure Wine and help provide tight integration between Wine and their GNOME desktop.”
