What is VidStudio?

VidStudio is a software system for live video production. Everyone can easily broadcast live events and create professional webcasts from any location.

Different video sources are supported. Powerful mixing module will let you create various video layouts. You could select form more than 10 video transition effects. All major picture file formats are supported. Putting image as an overlay or background. Live video/audio recording. Video transmittion over LAN. Lower CPU requirements compared to similar products. Workspace saving/loading for easy switching to different projects. VidStudio is acting as a virtual camera device to allow external application to work with it. Multiple camera instances are allowed. So you can use Media Live Encoder while you are using the camera in Skype.

DirectX/OpenGL hooking will let you use your favourite games as a video source.

Since version 1.1 we've added chroma key support.
