Vi3Dim allows anyone with a PC and simple camera, such as a webcam, to capture real-world objects transforming them into 3D models with the textures already attached. Use of Vi3Dim technology will allow end users sophisticated new functionality with major cost savings. Thanks to this simple system, 3D reconstruction can become easy and accessible for everyone. The method proposed by Vi3Dim requires a simple camera. Rotating the object in front of the camera lens, or moving the camera around the object enables the software to reconstruct the object’s surface mesh, within attached texture from the sequence of the collected frames.
