What is UnlockZip?
This is a web service for password cracking (recovery of lost passwords) for ZIP, RAR, or PDF files.
It is fully configurable: you can choose the type of attack, create custom masks, and select from dictionaries containing billions of the most common passwords. The pricing is very reasonable for this type of service.
No login is required, there are no subscriptions, nothing complicated.
You simply upload the file, choose your attack methods, pay an initial fee of 1–2 euros, and start the process. If the password is found, you pay 10-15 euros to reveal it (depending on the strength of the encryption). If it is not found, you pay nothing.
In my opinion, this is fair. Other web services charge 50–300 euros upfront and still guarantee nothing.
