What is Unblend?

Unblend is a modern mental health and journaling app inspired by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. It is built for people who want to better understand their inner world, the different “parts” of themselves, how those parts connect, and what they each need.

Inside Unblend, you can map your thoughts, feelings, and memories in a way that makes them easier to see and work with. Each part can have its own profile with notes, relationships, and reflections. You can follow guided “trailheads” that walk you through exploring a feeling or situation, or use AI suggestions when you want a new perspective or prompt.

We built Unblend to work for both personal self-discovery and professional support. Therapists, coaches, and facilitators can use it with clients, while individuals can keep their work fully private with end-to-end encryption. Everything from the map layouts to the rich text fields is designed to be flexible so you can shape it to fit your own process.

Some of the ways people use Unblend include:

  • Journaling through tough emotions or big life changes
  • Mapping out patterns they have noticed over time
  • Keeping track of relationships between parts
  • Getting new insights through guided prompts or AI

Whether you are working through something specific or simply curious about how your inner system fits together, Unblend gives you a space to see it clearly and work with it at your own pace. Our goal is simple: make self-understanding easier, more visual, and more personal.
