I've been looking for a PIM outliner for a while and i still think this must be the best information managment tool i've seen so far, surprised this has received so few likes it beats a lot of the competition hands down. If it only had a mindmap tool so i could link information visually!!
11/13/2022 Tried this again for web clipping. Oh my... They still use Internet Explorer to process the html. And the chrome extension is too simplistic and doesn't seem to work.
3 yeas ago (-) Why does UR keep making new items when pasting copies from the web? This makes you hate to see the tree of the outliner. Someone would want to keep the contents of the web in one of the Rich Text.
Although the two-pane interface suggests that its database can only be traversed as a single-parent tree (similar to Windows Explorer), its Logical Linking feature allows multiple parents for any child, a great organizational feature.
Not many PIMs implement multiple parents well, but Ultra Recall stands out from the crowd. Compared with similar applications such as PersonalBrain, speed replaces eye candy and the interface is solid.
Ultra Recall also has a powerful Attributes feature and Advanced Search engine. It comes with an excellent manual.
