Ultimaps information
What is Ultimaps?
Ultimaps is a browser-based map visualization tool that turns data into presentation-ready maps in seconds. Unlike tile-based mapping services, it specializes in vector maps of administrative units such as countries, states, counties, and departments, ideal for choropleth maps, sales territory planning, and data storytelling.
Import data from CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, or Notion and Ultimaps automatically assigns colors, creates legends, and formats values. Build maps colored by numeric data, categorical maps, presence/coverage maps, territory maps, and location pin maps with custom icons and labels. Choose from visual themes, customize boundaries, add annotations and shapes, then export as PNG, SVG, or PDF.
Any map can be turned into an interactive version with hover tooltips and click popups: share via link or embed on your website with no coding required.
The free tier includes unlimited maps that are automatically saved in your account, PNG export with attribution, and interactive map publishing, while the Pro plan unlocks high-resolution exports without attribution, SVG/PDF formats, and reusable templates.
