What is Ukuvota?

The decision-making tool is a collaborative platform designed to help users arrive at a collective solution to a question or problem. The app features a two-phase process, consisting of a collection phase and a voting phase. During the collection phase, participants can submit proposals for the solution to the question or problem. The goal of this phase is to gather as many ideas as possible from the group.

Once the collection phase is complete, the voting phase begins. In this phase, participants can vote on each proposal using emojis that range from -3 to +3. The emojis indicate the level of support for each proposal, with -3 indicating strong opposition and +3 indicating strong agreement. Additionally, negative votes can be multiplied by a negative weight factor, which can be selected at the beginning of the process. This factor enables users to adjust the impact of negative votes according to their specific needs.

To use the app, users can create a new process and select the question or problem they wish to solve. They can also set the duration for the collection and voting phases, as well as the negative weight factor. Once the process is created, participants can submit proposals and vote on them, working together to arrive at the best solution.
