I use it professionally on a daily basis since more than a year and it's pretty powerful. I was happy with LaTeX but Typst was more powerful with a cleaner syntax. The transition cost me a few months to migrate all but the main reason was I just implement more tools which helped me to have the ability to create reports in a modular way.

Typst is designed to be an alternative both to advanced tools like LaTeX and simpler apps like Word and Google Docs.

You can use Typst in your own computer or through the web application. The latter has a free and a paid option. The free option is very well suited for almost everyone. The paid options are pretty cool if you need more advanced stuff.
