What is TweakPNG?

TweakPNG is an utility for low-level examining and modifying PNG image files. The current version requires Windows 2000 or higher (XP, Vista, etc.), though it is possible to build a copy that runs on Windows 95/98/ME. In order to use it, you will need to be at least somewhat familiar with the internal format of PNG files.

TweakPNG is an interactive PNG file editor utility that allows you to view and modify some of the meta-information stored in PNG image files. It is not a real image editor or viewer. (It does include a simple image viewer, but it only passively displays the current state of the file.)
