IBM Turbonomic information
What is IBM Turbonomic?
Turbonomic is an Application Resource Management (ARM) platform that continuously analyzes application demand and resource supply to ensure performance while reducing costs. Through real-time analytics and safe, automated actions, it right-sizes and moves workloads across hybrid and multicloud environments—Kubernetes, VMware, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud included.
The platform detects performance risks before they impact end users and recommends (or executes) actions such as resizing VMs/pods, reallocating storage, and tuning CPU/memory limits—always balancing SLOs with budget. With intuitive dashboards and open APIs, Turbonomic integrates into DevOps pipelines and observability tools, enabling IT and FinOps teams to align infrastructure spend with actual application needs.
