    What is Thieve?

Buying directly from suppliers on AliExpress.com is insanely cheap. Cutting out all the middle men, plus the economies of scale in China, results in items that are almost unimaginably cheap.

You can find watches for a few dollars, iPhone charge cords for a few cents and the options are limitless. But that’s kind of the problem. With literally millions of products, the challenge is sorting through so many products to find what you want.

“Although there are some awesome products on AliExpress, finding them can be a painful process. We created Thieve to solve that issue.”

    • Thieve founder Tim Scullin

Thieve.co, a new startup based in Auckland, New Zealand, curates the best products from AliExpress. They have hand selected 100’s of designers, fashion bloggers and creatives who submit their favorite products to the curated site.

“By crowdsourcing our curation, we not only get a broader range of products, but also get different styles on the site. Often things get submitted that I’d never think of buying, but then I see it and I’m like, I need that!” says Tim.

Thieve’s in-house moderators then check each product’s reviews, ratings, value and shipping costs before approving it for the main feed on the site.

New products are released every day and the team is working on ordering and reviewing each item in its feed, only featuring the very best products on the site.

All products listed on the site link directly to AliExpress where shoppers can read full descriptions and reviews before purchasing.

Because all orders are handled via AliExpress, buyers are covered by AliExpress Buyer Protection, providing refunds for undelivered, faulty or poorly represented products.

Thieve makes money by taking a small commission on any sale after a user clicks through to AliExpress.
