What is Text Merge?
This friendly interface utility program gives the user the ability to easily merge selected text files into a single file.
Features include: The ability to control header information from the merging text files The ability to control line spacing between merging text files

Simple, efficient and even allows you to (1) insert line spacing between files and (2) strip header information from all files
This is a good simple file joining program, but I am looking for better. There are some amazingly sophisticated merge file programs out there, but you don't always want that. No big learning curve, but file naming is somewhat awkward as you can't go back to explorer to copy/paste, so copy the root of your new file name ahead of time.
