What is Terrareg?

Terrareg is a self-hosted Terraform module registry.

It supports:

  • Module upload or Git-based modules (with support for Github and Bitbucket push hooks)
  • Analytics to see where modules are being used within projects, versions of the module being used, versions of Terraform that are being used to call the module and environments that the module has been deployed to.
  • Module indexing/searching, displaying:
  • README and other customisable tabs
  • Security scan results of the modules
  • Sub-module and example discovery, including code snippets from examples
  • SSO Signin (SAML/OpenIDC) (and static API key support)
  • Cost analysis of examples, giving a clear indication of how much using the module would cost
  • Completely API driven, allowing automation integration and querying any/all data.
