What is TelQ?

TelQ is a cloud-based SMS testing and quality assurance platform that helps businesses (such as SMS providers, aggregators, e-commerce companies or service providers relying on bulk messaging) to verify that their SMS actually reaches the recipient. You simply send a test SMS to one of TelQ’s real, local handset test numbers, and TelQ reports back whether the message was delivered, when, and exactly how it arrived.

With TelQ you can: detect fake delivery reports (DLRs), confirm the real delivery status, check whether the intended Sender ID and message content were preserved, retrieve the SMSC information, and even inspect raw technical data (PDU, encoding, UDH), giving you full visibility into how your SMS routes perform.

It also supports advanced tests: you can measure latency (the delay between sending and actual delivery), test delivery to ported numbers (MNP support), verify concatenated / long messages, and customize protocol parameters when sending via SMPP (TON/NPI, data-coding, custom UDH).

TelQ offers flexible integration: you can use a simple web interface, REST API or SMPP — depending on whether you just want occasional manual checks or full automation integrated into your system.

This helps you choose the most reliable SMS routes and providers early — avoid fake DLRs or misrouted SMS, improve deliverability and reduce waste — which is especially valuable when sending transactional messages, OTPs, marketing campaigns, alerts or other bulk SMS traffic.
