What is TCPData?
TCPData is a comprehensive developer-friendly toolkit for HTTP request inspection and network diagnostics. At its core, it provides detailed analysis of incoming HTTP requests, displaying all headers, client IP information, geolocation data, TLS/SSL details, and network metadata in a clean, easy-to-read format.
Beyond basic request inspection, TCPData offers a robust suite of TCP/IP network utilities including port availability checking, latency measurement with multi-ping statistics, HTTP-level traceroute with hop detection, GeoIP lookups with detailed geographic information, ASN (Autonomous System Number) lookups, IP address analysis, HTTP version detection (HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3), and CIDR network calculations supporting both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing.
The platform includes practical developer tools such as QR code generation and decoding (supporting WiFi credentials, URLs, and custom text), base64 and URL encoding/decoding, hex conversion, JSON formatting and validation, timestamp conversion across timezones, and webhook testing with customizable endpoints. It can generate curl commands from request specifications and provides tools for testing API endpoints with detailed response analysis.
All features are accessible through simple URL-based endpoints, making it easy to integrate into scripts, automation workflows, or use directly from the command line with curl or wget. The interface uses a terminal-inspired monospace design that appeals to developers and system administrators, with both JSON API responses and human-readable HTML views available through content negotiation.
TCPData serves as an all-in-one replacement for multiple diagnostic tools, providing httpbin-style request inspection combined with network utilities typically found in separate command-line tools, all accessible through a single web-based interface without requiring any software installation.
