What is Tappie?
Tappie is a free GUI for the Homebrew package manager. It lets you browse, search, install, uninstall, and update Homebrew packages without the command line.
Available in two editions:
Tappie (Native) - Built with SwiftUI for macOS 14+. Fast, lightweight, and notarized by Apple. Available as .dmg or via brew install --cask tappie.
Tappie-py (Cross-Platform) - Built with Python for macOS 12+ and Linux. Available as .dmg, .AppImage, and .deb.
Both versions include a visual package browser with search and filters, one-click install/uninstall/upgrade, interactive dependency graph visualization, backup and restore of your package configuration, doctor and cleanup utilities, and dark/light themes.
Built by a solo developer. Both editions are completely free.
