It is the perfect alternative to Chosen, Select2, Selectize, SumoSelect and many other jQuery-based JavaScript packages!

tail.select is pure JavaScript based none dependent on any framework and light-weight file size of about 62KB compared to (select2 156KB + jQuery 274KB) = 430KB in total which is so large taken in consideration that all what is required is a better select option input with basic search and styling
I would like to note a change for the
tail.selectlibrary. The old repository is gone completely and the new version is here -https://github.com/wolffe/tail.select.js

Since the plugin has disappeared, a few months ago, I have updated it to version 0.5.20 and an ES6 version 0.6 is in the works. I am maintaining this plugin/library full time.
