Tacquito is described as 'Provides an rfc8907 implementation of TACACS+. This package is primarily a module that implements the TACACS+ protocol and can be used to build TACACS+ servers and clients. We provide a reference implementation of a client and a server but you are encouraged to' and is an app. There are four alternatives to Tacquito for Windows, Linux, Rust and Mac. The best Tacquito alternative is DialWays. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try ratchet TACACS+ or TACACS+ NG.
NTTacPlus is a centralized server application for the control and management of remote access to the network through the standard protocols TACACS+ (developed by Cisco) and RADIUS (developed by Livingston, now IETF standard).
This is unstable and has not been broadly validated against available TACACS+ clients, please use with caution!
tac_plus-ng is a TACACS+ daemon that supports RADIUS, too. It provides networking components like routers and switches with authentication, authorisation and accounting services.
