The application is really great, with a very clean and easy to use interface. Everything, from creation and maintenance of repositories is simple to achieve, not to forget the automated backup system, and the ViewVC integration.
Installing on a Linux system is quite fast, even on the distributions not "officially supported", since you can just un-tar everything in a proper directory, made accessible to a normal user: from there on, you just start the 'csvn' console, and you're done -- the accompanying 'README' file tells you all.
[Edited after more testing] The only drawback in the Java console is memory requirement. You'll need a minimal 1 GiB of RAM, since almost all of that is permanently hogged by the Java process.
