StreamPush information
What is StreamPush?
StreamPush is a cloud-hosted playout platform built specifically for the music industry. It enables record labels to run and monetize 24/7 live video channels on YouTube and Twitch using their existing music catalog. Unlike self-service streaming tools designed for individual creators, StreamPush is managed infrastructure. Labels don't operate or monitor the stream — StreamPush handles the hardware, encoding, visual rendering, and 24/7 uptime monitoring with auto-recovery and human escalation.
Content ingestion works through DDEX, the same delivery standard labels use for Spotify and Apple Music. StreamPush is connected as a DSP with distributors including FUGA, Sony Music, IDOL, Label Worx, Kontor New Media, rightsHUB, and AMPsuite. Tracks uploaded via FTP are automatically identified through audio fingerprinting and enriched with metadata from the Spotify and Apple Music APIs.
Scheduling uses smart playlists filtered by BPM, musical key, genre, energy level, release date, and custom tags. Harmonic mixing matches musical keys between tracks for smooth transitions. A weekly broadcast calendar supports timed shows, and a default playlist ensures the stream is never silent.
Visuals are rendered in real-time on dedicated hardware from custom label templates. Dynamic elements include track metadata, artist profile pictures, social handles, cover art, Spotify QR codes, and campaign overlays — all generated automatically from the catalog.
Additional features include a campaign system with scheduled promotional overlays, QR codes, and chat-triggered links with click tracking; a white-label chatbot with network-wide spam detection; mid-roll ad insertion via YouTube API; live source integration for artist Q&As and events; and an EPG XML TV feed for program guides.
StreamPush has been operating since 2020 and runs 50+ active channels. Clients include Anjunabeats, Defected Records, Monstercat, Nuclear Blast Records, Armada Music, Enhanced Music, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group. Channels span genres from electronic and house to metal and trance, with some labels running multiple channels from a single catalog.
The platform runs on dedicated servers in the Netherlands with direct peering to YouTube.
