What is streamdeck?
Streamdeck is a development project created by two German students as an alternative to the Elgato Stream Deck, allowing remote control of the open-source OBS screen recording program via your phone. Hosted on GitHub, it consists of an app and a Python script. The app, built using the open-source Flutter framework, communicates with the Python script operating within OBS to manage requests. The Python script also functions as a server. Streamdeck is independent of any major tech corporations and uses only open-source technology. It has an intuitive interface, efficient resource usage, and requires no external software for setup.
