What is StopForumSpam?

WHAT? Stop Forum Spam is a free service that records reports of spam on forums, blogs and wikis to name a few. All these records are then made available to you search and view but most importantly, to access in an automated way to block suspected spammers before they can get in the front door. Everyone is familiar with more traditional "solve the word" systems to prevent abuse, Stop Forum Spam is a targeted and specialsed solution to help stop abuse of your website.
WHY? No one likes spam, either posted through their letter box, emailed to them, a phone call just as you sit down to dinner or posted onto your website, sites that you have invested a lot of time and money in. In simple terms, it is an annoyance that wastes your time, drives your users away and in many cases supports criminal activities.
HOW? Install a plugin for your site and configure it the way that best suits you.... That's it! Once your plugin is configured and running then new user registrations (and other events if supported) will be checked against the lists we have, lists details known hostile and abusive addresses. If a match is found then your new member won't get their foot in the door and won't be able to start posting on your site. If you would rather do checking offline then we provide all our data as downloadable files.
You can look at the ready to go plugins or the API documentation if you would like. There are a lot of downloadable files that provide a all the data we have in many different ways, and may well work with what you have in mind.

As an administrator of several forums I find this free service invaluable. Don't let the name fool you, this service offers much more than the other spammer blacklists. SFS often has extra context and evidence relating to banned users which other services do not have, this helps with spotting false positives.
This blacklist uses a relational database system so is often able to match many seemingly random email addresses to the "real" email account. Fake domains and those only created for hosting a spam email server are marked as "Toxic", this is the same for any IP that is only used for spamming and botnets.
The free API can be used with your own site or applications, and pre-made plugins are available for common site software. The well documented API is simple to use and can be accessed in a variety of ways to suit your needs.
Worth noting: It is easy to have your self removed from the database if a **genuine **mistake has been made and you end up in it.

Then they lie & say I'm not there & attack me publicly when I did NOTHING TO THEM other than ask why they haven't removed me from their DB. Then twice they say I'm not in there.
I'm not here to waste my time (ridiculous) saying I'm in there if I'm not.
My assumption is that their system doesn't work. I even took tons of screenshots this time to show that I submitted a removal request.
Just because a control freak forum says someone is a spammer doesn't mean they are one.
There's no proof AT ALL that I'm a spammer. I've NEVER EVER spammed on a forum in my LIFE.
This is defamation accusing an innocent person of something they didn't do so they can't join forums because everyone thinks I'm a spammer when I'm not.
I've been on forums since I don't know when. 2000 or so & I've NEVER in my entire life had this many problems with forums & now this stopforumspam scam site.
