What is Startup Delayer?
Startup Delayer gives you the power to optimize your Startup Process by delaying applications from starting up as soon as you log into your computer.
By delaying the applications during start up, your computer becomes usable a lot faster. Startup Delayer will then start launching your delayed applications when your computer is more idle.
Startup Delayer allows you add some order to this process by determining the best time to launch your Applications. You can choose to do this based on how idle your computer is, or you can set an arbitrary time.

It just works - simple but effective!
Glary Utilities LIKES distorts the true popularity of Startup Delayer Glary is a suite of a squillion "progs" and cannot be compared against Startup Delayer
Glary "Likes" is 2 ... ... a more honest comparison with Startup Delayer
Method 1: Copy all the startup item's target path and its additional command to a text. If I need restoring them, creating startup items and filling the paths one by one.
Method 2: Create shortcuts for each startup item. If I need restoring them, drag and drop into the Startup Delayer window. It's better to double click the added items therefore Startup Delayer can find the target apps. But you still need adding addtional command yourself.
I'd still rather use this program because it's specifically designed for what it does, rather than one big lump of stuff that I may or may not use. I also like the user interface of this program better, as it allows more precise control rather than a dropdown menu. You can also drag-drop right from the time line interface.
I like and recommend Startup Delayer, but with Glary Utilities you also have included a good startup delay function.
@ em4020 I dont like "suites" of tools (eg, "Glary Utilities") in one app. They just add bloat. It is years since I tweaked startup ... I prefer dedicated specialty apps like "Startup Delayer"
