What is Stacktape?
Stacktape is a tool that simplifies AWS for developers, enabling quick deployment of production-grade infrastructure. It transforms complex tasks into more manageable processes. Developers can now use an interactive config editor instead of manually writing YAML files, allowing for configuration in YAML, JSON, or Typescript. The editor provides validation, autocompletion, and on-hover documentation, presets for common use cases, and a GUI for config parts. Developers can now write a single config file instead of multiple YAML files. Stacktape also simplifies the understanding of technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and networking and VPCs, by providing a single technology with easy abstractions. It also offers a user-friendly console UI, application logs browser, deployment logs browser, AWS spend breakdown, and one-click rollbacks. Configuring Git deployment pipelines is easier with built-in support for push-to-deploy and preview deployments from Github, Gitlab, and Bitbucket.
