Number Analytics VS IBM SPSS Statistics
Is Number Analytics a good alternative to IBM SPSS Statistics?
Comments about Number Analytics as an Alternative to IBM SPSS Statistics
It has statistical modules like T-test, ANOVA, Regression, Logistic regression, K-Means clustering
Number Analytics can import various data files including SPSS data files without conversion. It supports Excel, CSV, STATA, SAS data files. Also the statistical output results are compatible with SPSS outputs. Another great features are that it has color coded result tables and graphs with automatic statistical result interpretation so that you don't need to learn how to interpret statistical results.
Whenever I had to work with SPSS files, it is not easy because SPSS is not installed in all of my computers. I work at home and office and SPSS works only in campus. Number Analytics is great because it works everywhere.
I tried to use SPSS and Number Analytics. Both are good for professional statisticians. However, if you are new to statistical analysis, I would recommend Number Analytics. It has much less options to choose and simple user interface. Another great thing of Number Analytics is automatic result interpretation. Since I do know know much of statistics, it really helps to understand the statistical results.
Compared to SPSS, Number Analytics is much simpler and easier to use. It would be great for beginners to learn data analysis. I run ANOVA, test, linear regression analysis and the results were the same as those of SPSS. If you are looking for a SPSS alternative software, Number Analytics would be good for you. However, it does not have advanced statistical analysis and options are limited.
