What is Splitify?
Hey everyone, I built this app to solve some real problems I had living with a roommate and trying to manage shared bills.
The problem with most bill splitting apps: • They require all people involved to download an app (Always at least one person who won't) ? Splitify doesn't! Only the person requesting money needs an account • They send messages/reminders through notifications or emails that are often missed ? Splitify sends text and email messages plus automated reminders so the bill actually gets seen and paid • Most annoying: Any bill that changes over time (typically utilities) must be manually updated and split up each time (Have to go and check multiple utility sites) ? Splitify links your bank and detects the latest charge and will split the new amount each time and then send requests to each person.
Worth mentioning that you can also get paid anyway you want (venmo, cashapp, etc.). The app also alerts you when you have overdue payments requests and makes it very easy to see and manage those overdue payments request.
There are a lot of other cool features too but those are the main struggles I aimed to solve. Once again, this is brand new and would appreciate some feedback, check it out at splitify.io
