Solar Staff was launched in 2014 by Pavel Shynkarenko and has offices in New York, Limassol and Amsterdam. More than 1.5 million tasks are processed via Solar Staff yearly with a 2021 revenue of $6.1 million.

Solar Staff is among few solutions that processes payments to freelancers based in Eastern Europe as well as other remote regions where financial restrictions are imposed.
