Scan to PDF:

  • scans documents and saves as PDF (does the same thing as ScanToPDF and Scan2PDF)
  • scans are shown horizontally (across the screen)
  • commercial program (free 30-day trial period available)

In my opinion, Softi Scan to PDF is a step up from ScanToPDF / Scan2PDF because of its interface. Scans are shown horizontally rather than vertically, which allows you to see more of your recently scanned pages. (ScanToPDF and Scan2PDF show scans vertically.) Otherwise, the program's functions are nearly identical to ScanToPDF and Scan2PDF.

Again, since it's a paid program, I would stick with Scan2PDF (which is free). It costs $30 USD for the license on one computer. Also, ScanWiz is $50 USD for licensed-use on one computer.
