What is Slic?

Slic scans a codebase and identifies the license of each file. It can be extended to identify new licenses or change its detection of existing ones.

Slic can optionally extract the license text and a list of copyright holders which in turn can be passed to the flic (Format LICenses) tool which takes slic output and passes the result to a Jinja2 template.
