What is Sleek Compare?
Sleek Compare is a WordPress plugin for adding interactive before-and-after image comparison sliders to any page or post. It was built from scratch with a focus on performance, accessibility, and simplicity.
The entire plugin ships under 10KB (JavaScript + CSS combined) with zero external dependencies. No jQuery, no FontAwesome, no bloat. It scores perfect Core Web Vitals on every metric.
It includes three ways to add sliders: a native Gutenberg block with live preview, an Elementor widget with full style controls, and a shortcode that works in any theme or page builder. Images are lazy-loaded using IntersectionObserver, so sliders only initialize when they scroll into view.
Accessibility was a priority from the start. The slider supports full keyboard navigation (arrow keys, Home, End), proper ARIA attributes for screen readers, and 48px minimum touch targets for mobile. It meets WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
Styling is handled through CSS custom properties, so you can customize handle color, size, label appearance, and border radius without writing any custom CSS - just set variables. The free version includes shortcode support for a single site. The Pro version ($29, one-time) adds Gutenberg and Elementor integration, unlimited site licenses, custom handle colors, priority support, and lifetime updates.
