This is a nice stumble-upon. I was just thinking earlier in the morning how it's a nuisance to get around the extra stuff on Google Maps when taking screenshots. I have to admit that I wish it had a crop feature too. Just click the icon, and the image is downloaded in .jfif form without the jumbly stuff. Note that it can make one-click screenshots of other sites, too.
