Cross-platform software Simple Chat officially supports most popular desktop operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Multiple login Supports multiple login on same account from different places. OAuth 2.0 Supports sign up via Facebook, Google, Windows Live, GitHub, VKontakte, Yandex, ?dnoklassniki and Mail.Ru. File transfer File transfer use direct connections between users. Animated emoticons Animated emoticons included in the standard distribution. Spell checking It supports all of Hunspell dictionaries. Rich text messages Supports visual message formatting (bold, italic, underline and strikeout) and also multiline messages. Offline messages Messages will be delivered, when recipient connects to the chat. Sound notifications Supports sound notifications Popup notifications Supports popup windows Plugins Both client and server support plugins to extend the functionality. SSL encryption Connection between client and server is encrypted using SSL. Geo IP Server has a built-in support for determining country.
