What is Scanward?

Scanward is an external attack surface monitoring platform that continuously scans your domains for security issues and gives you a single A-F grade. It checks five categories: SSL/TLS certificates (expiry, protocol version, cipher strength, chain validity), DNS configuration (DNSSEC, dangling CNAMEs, zone transfers, MX records), HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Permissions-Policy, Referrer-Policy), email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC policy enforcement), and uptime (response time, status codes, redirect chains).

Unlike enterprise tools that require sales calls and cost $20K+/year, Scanward is self-serve with transparent pricing. The free tier includes 1 domain with daily scans and email alerts. Pro ($29/mo) covers 10 domains with 12-hour scan intervals, and Agency ($79/mo) supports 50 domains with 6-hour intervals for MSPs managing multiple clients.

Every failing check includes step-by-step fix instructions with platform-specific tabs (Nginx, Apache, Cloudflare) and copy-pasteable configuration snippets. No security expertise required — scan, see what's wrong, follow the instructions to fix it.
