What is Sava OS?
Sava OS helps you to manage, filter, share, and organize your online data in a desktop-like environment.
Manage links (bookmarks) & browser tabs:
Easily manage tab groups, tag links, organize them in desks and folders, or control everything from the library. Sessions allow you to manage browsing sessions without the tab clutter. Create one for research, projects, or anything, and have the ability to easily open a session or pause it to close all tabs at once.
Create personal feeds, text files, & embeds:
Create RSS, Atom, or YouTube channel feeds and access their content from any desk. A single feed supports multiple URLs, allowing you to view top news or your favorite YouTube channels all at once.
Share folders or entire desks:
Any desk or folder can be shared with other members. This allows for real-time collaboration and shared access to all data within them.
Have peace of mind with privacy:
- Encryption during transit: This ensures that your data is encrypted while transmitted over the internet.
- Application-level encryption: Your data is immediately encrypted with your unique key when it is received.
- Layered encryption at rest: Your data is encrypted once again when it is saved on the server.
- Anonymized accounts: The encrypted data on our servers cannot be linked to your account.

Comments and Reviews
I really appreciate Sava OS because it feels really high polished. It's also freeware as of today and supports quite a few features. I'll probably replace my old bookmark manager permanently to Sava OS. Great job!
It's proprietary for now, but they plan to open the source code at the end of development. You can create an account with an email address to avoid google login. They are working hard to make it better, so you can suggest new features and share concerns.
I'm not sure why this is a bad thing and given 2-star. Most cloud-based apps require an account to use, and we clearly mention that an account is required. The listing does not mention it as an extension only service.
I don't like services that require Google accounts. I don't like Google. Some people see it as a dealbreaker because they don't want to make a Google account. If not for this, I'd probably give you 4 stars, 5 if Sava OS was open-source and without tracking.
Hello again. It does not require a Google account, you can create an account with any email address. And perhaps you don't know this, but there's no way we can track you with Google sign-in. It's just an authentication system for people that already have a Google account (billions of people). In fact, we are heavily privacy focused. We don't use 3rd-party analytics, and we definitely do not track you. You can learn more in our privacy page: https://savaos.com/privacy-and-legal
We also plan to open-source the product, but it's not ready yet, still a lot of work especially on documentation. Currently we are listening to member feedback and adjusting/making it better every week.
Thanks for updating the app! I've updated my initial review.
My concerns about tracking weren't all about your service; they're mainly about Google. I won't create a Google account, I won't use Chromium and I won't use Google search because I don't want my info to be sold by Google. But you took care of that dependency to Alphabet with this email option! Nice job.
My last problem is analytics. At this point, I'm being nitpicky : your privacy policy is solid, kudos for that. I just can't find a setting to disable analytics. The last paragraph of your privacy page (about the 2 anonymous tracking cookies) is concerning. If you make it easy to opt-out of this tracking, I'll switch to five stars!
