What is Salary Confidential?

Salary Confidential solves the problem of compensation and salary benchmarks for niche roles with no comparable data, or when you want precise data that anchors to your specific peers. We solve the issue of the privacy of micro-data release -- it's not just the respondent which needs to be anonymous, so a Google form can't do -- by using methods draw from k-anonymity and differential privacy research (batched release of results, cryptographic participation tokens mean you cannot audit final participation but you control the gate, minimum respondent size of 4 per group, non-joined information to avoid data tracing). Respondents are incentivized to participate because they get access to the same rich, focused benchmark for free. It's the most precise benchmark you can run because you can invite peers in confidence: their anonymity is protected, but who is in the sample is always known to the survey owner.
