Rss builder

RSS Builder is an easy to use program to create RSS news feeds and podcasts for your web site. It provides a simple interface that lets you add topics, links, content, and enclosures, then publish the RSS (v2.0) feed to your web server, using the built-in FTP client.

The main window, with a topic (Feed object) selected. You can see the main feed parameters at the left, and the topic's at the right.
At the bottom of the Topic part, you can see the xml content, I generated most of the code with the WYSIWYG editor.
You can see a little part at the bottom left too, it's used to add your custom text/xsl / text/css link !

The best free RSS creator that I found !

But support only RSS and not ATOM too… it's a shame for a good software like this.

The WYSIWYG XML editor is very usefull too, and the main text box show the XML code after closing the WYSIWYG editor, very great :)

If they add ATOM support with all the related parameters (the favicon parameters mainly) it will be really great !

If you know goods free alternatives better than this app, please add it to RSS Builder !

What is Rss builder?

Comment from AlternativeTo user (JpotatO):

The original website provide a dead link to the download page, then I used the sourceforge project page for Official Website… there is the «Real» http://home.kpn.nl/bsoft/rssbuilder/

I tested it recently but it's a really good free RSS editor, it have a integrated WYSIWYW XML editor and many others useful parameters.

If you know good alternatives don't forget to link this app to !

*The app and Website icon is no good, I add a custom RSS icon instead.
