What is Rocket Broadcaster?
Rocket Broadcaster streams audio to Icecast, SHOUTcast, and most online streaming services, such as Airtime Pro, Radio.co, SHOUTcast.com, and RadioJar. It can record and broadcast all your desktop audio, including from Skype and Spotify, so you can seamlessly mix live interviews or call-in shows and other audio.
Rocket Broadcaster supports common codecs like MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Opus, and lossless Ogg FLAC, for the highest quality streaming. It also allows you to automatically capture metadata from the window of another application (like a media player), so your listeners will see the current artist and track name. Lastly, Rocket Broadcaster is built to run for months at a time and is suitable for studio use. If there is any interruption to your stream, it will automatically reconnect to minimize any disruption.

I want to try this out but the free version is way to limited free bitrates should be 128 and 160 also allow the use of 2 vst plugins. No way this the full version is worth $50 sorry
I use this in conjunction with ZaraRadio for my internet radio station Corner Radio. My only annoyance is that I can't go below the bitrate of 160 in the free version. I would like to use a lower bitrate because 160 is a but much for my internet to stream the station smoothly. So I will be looking for an alternative to run the station at a lower bitrate, and if any developers see this, please make it so the free version has lower bitrates. The paid version is overpriced.
