Rocker Gestures information
What is Rocker Gestures?
Rocker Gestures is a software tool that facilitates navigation through a unique mouse-button combination system. This system includes the ability to navigate backward by holding the right mouse button and pressing the left, and to move forward by holding the left mouse button and pressing the right. This feature was initially popularized by the Opera browser.
However, it's important to note that there are certain limitations and known issues with Rocker Gestures. For instance, it does not function on https://addons.mozilla.org due to restrictions imposed by Firefox. Similarly, it is not operational on browser-specific pages such as “about:addons”, nor in “PDF view” due to changes made in Firefox 60. Its functionality is also blocked in “reader view” and on other extensions pages like the options page of some add-ons, again due to Firefox's restrictions. Lastly, Rocker Gestures may not work as expected in nested IFRAME HTML elements, as Firefox may not inject it there.
