RegeditEx is written in Java, without any use of Windows APIs. It is similar to the Windows Regedit tool. But differently from Regedit, it can run also in non-Windows environments, like Linux.

RegeditEx can process standard and PE registries hives (including PE1 setupreg.hiv).

What is RegeditEx?

RegeditEx is written in Java, without any use of Windows APIs. It is similar to the Windows Regedit tool. But differently from Regedit, it can run also in non-Windows environments, like Linux.

RegeditEx can process standard and PE registries hives (including PE1 setupreg.hiv).

It is not recommended to process the host's live registry. That may work, but It is currently unknown what may happen.
