What is RegaWin?
We released the software "RegaWin" to assist Ukraine. We appreciate your prayers for restoring Ukraine's territorial and national rights and peace.
Features:
- All window positions and sizes are saved. Of course, maximized and minimized windows are saved in their normal window position and size. (Executable with a hotkey.)
- Restore the position and size of all windows, including minimized windows. (Executable with a hotkey.)
- It can also save/restore only the frontmost window (active window). (Executable with a hotkey.)
- It is possible to set match criteria for window titles (forward match, backward match, partial match, all match, no condition) to be restored.
- Priority can be set for restoration conditions. This allows restoring the same software in a different position or size for a particular title (for example, if you want to display information on the Web in a specified layout by title or if you want to display Word documents side by side).
- If the position of the saved window is changed, it can be modified easily to the current window position with just a hotkey stroke. In this case, you can choose to overwrite when the restoration conditions are met or only when both the process name and window title name are fully matched.
- The easy-to-use editor screen allows you to easily change restoration conditions, priorities, and window position and size.
- It has customizable save/restore hotkeys.
- It is light, allowing for quick startup and operation.
Installation and Uninstallation:
- Save the extracted folder of the downloaded zip file in any location.
- Launch "RegaWin.exe" in the folder to use it immediately.
- Since window data is written in the configuration file, please save the file in a location where you have permission to write (e.g., "C:¥RegaWin" or in My Documents).
- The configuration file is created in the folder when it is run for the first time.
- The registry is not written, so for uninstallation, just deleting the folder will suffice.
Addendum: In Regawin, you can change the priority of Windows settings by dragging them in the edit screen. It's also possible to select multiple settings at once. Similarly, copying settings is also feasible.
Comments and Reviews
I trade and play games in a multi-monitor environment and have found it tedious to constantly have to rearrange my trade screen and 10 different information sites every time I restart. RegaWin has solved this problem for me in a speedy and comfortable manner by allowing me to execute these tasks with just one hotkey. It is incredibly convenient that I can select the target window with just one keystroke. Other similar software that I have used in the past has required me to specify each window one by one or had settings that made it unbearable to use, and worst of all, data would sometimes disappear after restarting. Furthermore, RegaWin automatically updates its records even if I change the position or size of a window. This is truly a phenomenal convenience. I highly recommend this software to anyone who wants to customize multiple sites and information screens in a fixed position using a multi-monitor setup. I also want to express my gratitude to the author and am personally moved by their support for Ukraine.
