Rakuten Authenticator app works as Multi Factor Authentication for your Rakuten services removing the need of passwords usage.

It adds one extra security layer for your Rakuten account since you can link your device authentication method* (e.g face ID and/or fingerprint) for your authentication or a personal PIN that will be only valid from your trusted device.

It is easy to setup, you just need to scan a QR Code and link your preferred authentication method.
