What is Qventory?

Qventory is a QR-native inventory manager built for resellers who have outgrown spreadsheets but don’t want enterprise complexity. The web app pairs a scan-first dashboard with a flexible location hierarchy (aisle/bay/shelf/container) so every SKU stays tied to a real-world bin. Users can print QR labels in a single click, jump straight from a QR scan to the item record, and filter inventory by supplier, platform, status, or custom locations.

Key features include:

  • Fast dashboard with search, dynamic filters, infinite scroll, and bulk actions.
  • Guided item intake that captures cost, pricing, suppliers, marketplace links, photos (Cloudinary support), and quantity controls.
  • Location pages with sharable QR links, ROI indicators, and marketplace badges for each item in the bin. CSV import/export that detects native Qventory files or Flipwise-style spreadsheets, auto-generates SKUs when needed, and protects existing location data.
  • eBay integration via OAuth: background jobs import listings, sync thumbnails, map Custom SKU values to Qventory locations, and update existing items by Listing ID or SKU.
  • AI Market Research that scrapes recent eBay sold data and generates pricing advice, keyword tips, and market insights while tracking per-user token usage.
  • Progressive web app shell with offline support, ideal for warehouses or garages with spotty connectivity.

Under the hood, Qventory is a Flask + SQLAlchemy application with Alembic migrations, Celery workers for long-running tasks, and server-rendered templates with light progressive enhancement. It targets resellers, micro-warehousing teams, and product sellers who need a lightweight way to organize inventory, streamline picking, and keep marketplace listings in sync without adopting heavyweight ERP software.
