Comments and Reviews
Has many great features, a great UI, and is a standout amongst the surprisingly few code snippet libraries available. Unfortunately, it appears long abandoned by it's author, and any attempts at contacting it's author, or even posting on it's forum are either impossible or ignored. would love to see it's continued improvement.
No direct support for linux. Needs something like wine for Qsnips2 to run.
It has "support" for more languages than the air-based Snippely. This has some really great features such as adding code to the clipboard just by selecting, executing code in the terminal right from the application, searching, and integration with Snipplr. You can also change the location of the database (dropbox) and it runs cross-platform. I would say it's a great app that would improve anyone's productivity and probably the best native linux option available, especially with executing in the terminal! I would highly recommend it.
