What is QDAcity?
QDAcity emerged from a research project within the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg at the professorship for open source software which started in 2014.
QDAcity enables real-time concurrent coding, allowing you and your collaborators to work on the same dataset simultaneously. Similar to collaborative text editing, this ensures that updates are immediately visible to all team members, improving transparency and coordination. Since the service is still in beta, features can be removed at any time and there is no guarantee that the service will be available longterm. Also, the feature set is limited at the moment. We support input in plain text or uploading RTF and PDF documents. Uploading audio files for automated transcription is already possible.
